I remember writing this 4 years ago. Think it holds even more value today with our current stress situation.
Only you have the power to make changes in your life. It doesn’t matter whether it is a physical ailment, an emotional block or what you see as an imperfection in yourself. Whether you have a job or not. Whether you had C#\!D 19 or not. Only you can change it for the better.
No one is responsible to make those changes for you. Not your best friend, not your worst enemy, not even the government. No amount of money thrown around by the perceived powers of your municipality, your provincial government or your federal government will fix your personal situation. And no past events from your forefathers has the power to keep you from being who you are today.
This means that you do not have the right to blame someone else for the activities and sins of their forefathers for your shortcomings. The only person you can blame is yourself and the only person that can get you to move forward is yourself.
Your are a unique, wonderful, powerful individual that has an ability far above anything you can imagine when it comes to your life. Self-Victimization (like the left wing population would have you commit too) gets you no where. Only you get yourself to where you want to be. You can find some guides/helpers/empowerment experts along the way and that is okay but essentially only you can make that change. I am calling you to rise above it all and be the best you possible.
I was reminded of this post yesterday when a friend posted the same analogy in her own words. I was reminded that in difficult times like these last several months, this statement below has never been truer.
I am about individual empowerment to become the best that you can be……not the self victimization and fear that has been allowed to grip us over the last few months. Not the self victimization and fear that the media and government has tried to shove down our throats.
At my business, I focus on individualism and empowerment……not group self-victimization. Bitterness must be left at the door. Or off the camera when we work by zoom. And I can only guide you. No healer fixes a person. The individual does the work themselves.
